Sport England Funding Success

We’re delighted to share some positive news – our recent Sport England funding application has been successful and we are very grateful to have received £1,511.39 to support our accessible outdoor activities.
The funding will enable us to purchase sports equipment and bushcraft resources helping us to enhance outdoor play, physical activity and inclusion.
The equipment list includes:
Sports and games equipment such as footballs and pop-up goals, swing ball, a softball cricket set, archery equipment, dance ribbons and giant outdoor games
Inclusive play resources, including a soft foam boccia set, an inclusive boccia ramp, and adapted swing seating
Outdoor and sensory play, with a paddling pool, bubble play equipment and hammocks
Bushcraft equipment, including fire steels, gloves, loppers, tarpaulins and bug-hunting kits
A big thank you to Sport England for supporting inclusive play at Camp Jojo where we believe “everybody can”. The sports equipment gives everyone a chance to participate together and it is a wonderful opportunity for the children with disabilities that we support to be able to play alongside their siblings, everyone having fun together.
