If you are a family with a child with complex needs and disabilities you will know how hard it can be to have a holiday together.
At Camp Jojo we specialise in providing wild camping experiences for children with complex needs. Our focus, however, is to provide holidays for the whole family together. We provide for the needs of everyone in your family from the youngest to the oldest. We offer fully accessible camping and outdoor experiences you can enjoy together.
Our dedicated team of volunteers will take as much or as little of the caring role as you would like, allowing parents to rest, relax and focus on just being parents again.
At Camp Jojo we believe spending time together as a family is important. We believe that through nurturing the family unit, strengthening relationships and sharing great times together, families develop the resilience needed to face the challenges ahead.
Family applications for 2023 will open in January and can be accessed here on our website.
Lack of equipment and accessible facilities is often a barrier to so many families when trying to plan a holiday. That's why at Camp Jojo we will provide you with all of the equipment and facilities that your family needs to make camping possible and enjoyable! This includes tents, hoists, an accessible bathroom, profiling beds, sensory den, beach wheelchairs and much more!

We also provide volunteer support, catering and activities - helping you to make precious memories and enjoy time together.
Any family with a child under the age of 18 who has complex needs is welcome to apply!
Camp Jojo is for the whole family, so we encourage you to put all of your children on your application, including those without complex needs.
Applications for summer 2023 will open in January and can be accessed here.
Families will be selected based on their level of need, circumstances and the equipment that we have available.
Many families are also eligible for a bursary to help towards the cost of their camping weekend.
Activities at Camp
At Camp Jojo we pride ourselves on providing accessible and inclusive activities that the whole family can enjoy! This includes bushcraft, pizza making, pottery, a trip to the beach and a very special talent show! Take a look at our gallery for more examples of Camp Jojo fun!
